Alter folio settings on Google Docs

You lot can update your page size and margins, or change the page orientation of your Google Doc.

Important: These features aren't available in documents that are in pageless format. To utilise these features, make sure your certificate is in pages format.

Change page setup of a Google Doctor

  1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
  2. In the toolbar, click File and then Page setup.
  3. At the top of the dialog window, select Pages.
  4. Become to the setting yous desire to change:
    • Orientation
    • Newspaper size
    • Margins
    • Page color
      • Tip: If you are in pageless format, y'all tin update the background color.
  5. Make your changes.
  6. Click OK.
    • Tip:Yous can click Set up as default to apply these settings to any new documents you create.

A single document can include a mix of portrait and landscape layouts, to improve fit wider tables, charts and graphics.

Alter the orientation of a selection

  1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
  2. Highlight the text or prototype that you want to change the orientation and thenRight click on the text or image.
  3. Select Change page to landscape or Modify folio to portrait.
